1986, the beginning. Her favourite question was "Hey! can I put my record on?". This is Chicca! Passion, talent and so much hard work! As Ruskin says "when love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece”.And this is how it is. From 1990 to 1993 she's the resident dj at the Blues Cafè in Porto Cervo. In this cooperation there will be a gap of one year 'cause she was ready for a new challenge: her first own club "Cafè del Mar" in Porto Cervo too. After that she will go back to the Blues Cafè for a while. The summertime goes with the blue colors of Costa Smeralda but the winter time changes: grey and foggy Emilia Romagna. By this time she started to bring on the stage the new black night at the Italghisa, Reggio Emilia: this experience brought her to be in charge of the music selection for a very important radio network. Kobe Bryant and Kiwane Garris: only two names of her fans at that time. Ruskin was absolutely right. In 1995 she has been asked to be a part of the Vox staff. This cooperation will last for 5 years and will lead her to be the first female DJ to open the exclusive Jamiroquai and Shaggy italian performances. Warren G asked her to follow him too for other dates. She will spin introducing the MC Lyte and Da Brat performances. The following year Chicca meet the TV. Matchmusic wants her in its team together with Marta, Francesca Faggella, Dj Janet and Max Laudadio. She's also been asked to be a part of "Se dici donna (if you say woman)", a four day tv program where Serena Dandini introduces actresses, musicians and politic world's women, all involved in a post-feminism discussion. In a completely man-powered music world, Chicca is the only female italian DJ at that time. In her full booked agenda, she spins all over Italy. She takes care of the Rimini nights flow togheter with Master Freeze, cooperates with Ecu, Echoes, Paradiso, Maccaroni and Pineta. A very good friend of Ciso, she's at home at the Palladium, Vicenza. She's been a guest at some events at the Mazoon, Desenzano, Goa in Rome and Beedown in Genova. The unforgettable Costa Smeralda comes back in her life: in 1997 she's the resident DJ at the Ritual and Blues Cafè again, Porto Cervo. Later on, the Spice Girls manager wants her as the official DJ for their italian tour. That summer starts also the cooperation (that still goes on) with the Raggae Pub, Costa Smeralda, where an amazing circumstance brings her to meet Curtis Blow. The hip hop father asked her to open the "Hip Hop Anniversary" tour, together with Sugarhill Gang, Furious Five, Grandmaster Melle Mel, Grand Wizard Theodore. He wanted her for all the dates. In these last years Chicca also spinned in USA with her friend Top Cat (Opium Garden and Cro Bar, Miami) and she also had the opportunity to be around names such as Tony Touch and DJ Khaled. Always ready for new challenges, never feeling like she's got enough, she's getting better and better as the hip hop takes advantage on the italian music stage! Last but not least, on the 25th of October 2008, she took part of the Female Jam in Florence: a dedicated jam for the italian hip hop ladies! She rocked, as usual.
