DJ Romie Rome has been playing Black Music and Deejaying for over 20 years. From Dallas, Texas, Rome was brought up on Black Music and grew up with Hip Hop since it began. He, along with his younger brother, made a name for themselves in their area as a very good deejay team, until he joined the U.S. Army in 1988. Instead of his skills diminishing while serving in the Armed Forces, they just began to flourish. He deejayed the military functions and then spreaded out to do military clubs and even when he deployed to other coutries. Also, during this time he began to have an apprieciation for other music, such as reggae/dancehall and house. Upon the end of his military career, which was in Germany, he started to really looking at Deejaying as career move, because of his lfor music and entertaining people. He started to reach out into the local scene, because the military scene was changing. He has been in numerous clubs since then "keeping the vibe alive". Along with his partner DJ Knox and Suga N Spice entertainment, the held down the hottest parties in the summer at the WIESBADEN POOL PARTY JAM, which people came from all over Europe. This is really where the test came to really establish himself and become known for his mixes of RnB, Hip Hop,Reggaeton, Reggae/Dancehall, Dirty South, and House Party Tracks that continue to fill dance floors and make any party he spins at the hottest. He has supported many star DJs and recording artists from the US and has held down many residencies. He has spent a lot of time touring internationally as well throughout Europe. DJ Romie Rome is the ONLY active Golden member of the DJ League (Europe's largest Black Music Community) that is born and raised in the U.S. Having studied and graduated in music, along with his parents graduating from college in music, he is moderator or MC that loves to "keep the party HOT without talking a lot" ,which something definitely learned from the Old school (and yes he speaks in English and Deutsch). DJ Romie Rome is also a regular on Hessen's Planet Radio Black Beats Show and a permanent resident in Club Black Sounds Hanau, Landstuhl, Heidelberg, and Vilseck. DJ Romie Rome also tries to keep the streets Hot with mixtapes on the regular to keep some songs (that you never hear or see or TV and radio) out there and of course for the clubs. Through dedication and love of the music, Dj Romie Rome will ALWAYS keep it live and DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT!!!!
